Air Duct Cleaning

AIR DUCT CLEANING

Did you know that up to 80% of the dust in your air ducts can be made up of dead human skin cells. Think about that—you're literally breathing in bits of your own body every time your HVAC system runs!

Air ducts can become a breeding ground for all sorts of disgusting things. Over time, they collect dead skin cells, pet hair, and dust, creating a perfect environment for bacteria, mold, and even rodents. If pests like rodents or insects find their way into your ducts, they can leave behind feces, urine, and decaying bodies, which can spread harmful bacteria and foul odors throughout your home.

Pet hair and dander, along with dirt and debris, get circulated every time your HVAC system runs, making your air quality worse and triggering allergies or asthma.

Even more gross, rodent carcasses and insect infestations can lead to a musty, stale odor, while bacteria and mold can thrive in the moisture and dark corners of your ducts.

All this build-up forces your system to work harder, raising your energy bills and leading to decreased efficiency. Regular air duct cleaning can help eliminate these hazards, improving the air you breathe and the overall health of your home.

We also provide before and after pictures of every single air duct cleaning service. That’s how we stand behind our work!

Process:

  • Inspection: We begin with a thorough visual inspection of your heating units, filters, blower, and both interior and exterior components. We'll educate you on your system’s condition and confirm whether cleaning is needed, followed by a detailed explanation of the process.

  • Protective Measures: To safeguard your home, we set up barriers to prevent dirt, dust, and scuff marks during the cleaning.

  • System Preparation: Registers are sealed to ensure all debris is directed into the vacuum system for efficient removal.

  • Vacuum Integration: A commercial-grade all-electric negative air vacuum with HEPA filters is connected to the main ducts, ensuring powerful and effective extraction of dirt and debris.

  • Debris Removal: Compressed air is blown through the system to push debris through the supply, cold air returns, and main trunk lines, ensuring a thorough cleaning of the entire system.

  • Motorized Cleaning (Optional): For added cleaning power, we use a 575 RPM motorized brush system to scrub vents and ducts.

  • Hand Cleaning (Optional): We hand clean register covers and boots for a spotless finish throughout your system.

  • Sanitization & Deodorization (Optional): We use a commercial fogger to sanitize and deodorize your air ducts, with our eco-friendly sanitizer leaving your home smelling fresh and clean.

  • Reassembly & Sealing: After cleaning, access panels are reattached, and entry points are properly sealed to maintain system integrity.

  • Cleanup: We leave your space spotless, ensuring no mess is left behind.

  • Before & After Photos: For your peace of mind, we provide visual documentation of the cleaning process to highlight the improvements made. Click here to see more

Why clean your air ducts?

  • Older home/system: An old HVAC system, without regular deep-cleanings, collects a lot of dirt and debris over time, and can affect its performance and drive up energy bills.

  • Just moved/Remodeled: Whether you plan to, have recently moved, or have undergone a home remodel, we recommend cleaning the air ducts. Believe it or not, even a newly-built home collects dust in the HVAC system. Let us remove the drywall, dust, and other construction debris and contaminants from your air.

  • Pets: Cuddly and full of love, but their hair and dander is collected in air vents and can contribute to allergies.

  • Allergies: Unlike chemical and food allergens, most indoor allergens are airborne, and they spread via the air ducts. When your A/C or heat is on, it spreads these allergens throughout your entire home.

  • Smoking: Cigarette smoke seeps into your vents and air ducts. Every time you switch on the A/C or the furnace, those chemicals and odors are recirculated inside your home.

  • Recent Illness: From COVID to the common cold, ensuring your home has clean, filtered air moving efficiently is a great way to prevent the spread of disease.
